Last updated: October 20, 2026. These terms govern your use of ToolsOfWeb ("we", "our") at toolsofweb.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the tools.

The short version

• All tools are free and provided as-is, with no warranties.
• You may use the tools for personal and commercial work.
• Don't abuse the site or use it for anything unlawful.
• Networking tools connect to endpoints you choose yourself.
• The site is supported by advertising.

Free tools, as-is

Every tool on ToolsOfWeb is free to use, with no account or sign-up required. The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always double-check important output (calculations, conversions, generated files) before relying on it.

Commercial use

You may use the tools for commercial work — client projects, business documents, production workflows. Anything you create with a tool (a merged PDF, a generated resume, converted text) is yours. We claim no ownership over your input or output.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for lawful purposes only. Don't attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities in a way that degrades service for others, or use the tools to process content you don't have the right to use. Automated, abusive scraping that harms availability may be rate-limited or blocked.

Networking tools

Some tools — such as the WebSocket Tester — connect directly from your browser to a third-party endpoint you explicitly choose. We don't proxy that traffic and have no control over those endpoints. Whatever you send there is between you and the endpoint operator, so only connect to servers you trust.

Advertising

ToolsOfWeb is free because it's supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are separate from tool output, and we don't endorse the products or services advertised. How advertising cookies work is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolsOfWeb and its maintainer are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site — including lost files, incorrect output, or downtime. Your use of the tools is at your own risk.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
