File utilities that respect your privacy

Renaming a hundred files by hand is nobody’s idea of a good afternoon. These file utilities handle the boring work — batch-rename files with prefixes, suffixes, and numbering, or bundle files into a ZIP — entirely in your browser. Because everything runs locally, even sensitive filenames never touch a server.

They are built for quick, repeatable jobs: preparing assets for upload, cleaning up camera-roll filenames, or standardizing a folder of client deliverables. No software to install, no accounts to create.

Tools in this category

  • Batch Rename Files — rename many files at once with a prefix, suffix, numbering, and find-replace — download as a ZIP.
  • ZIP Maker — bundle multiple files into a single ZIP archive right in your browser.

How batch renaming works

Drop in your files, set a naming pattern (for example, a project prefix plus sequential numbers), preview the new names, and download everything as a ZIP. The preview step matters: you see exactly what each file will be called before anything is renamed, so there are no surprises.

This is the fastest way to standardize photo exports (IMG_0042.jpg becomes wedding-001.jpg), organize downloads, or prepare numbered assets for a developer handoff.

Who these are for

Photographers, content creators, office workers drowning in downloads, developers preparing asset folders, and students organizing project files.

Privacy note: Your files never leave your device — renaming and zipping happen in your browser. Filenames can be sensitive, so we built these tools to never see them.
